Florence Foster-Jenkins

Florence Foster-Jenkins (1868-1944) was an American heiress who believed that she was meant to be an opera singer.  So she became one.  A very, very bad one.  If you can bear to listen, here’s an example of her work:  Florence Foster Jenkins – Glöckchenarie – Lakmé.  Good on yer, Flo!
